After discovering that an Arctic hare had travelled 400 km in a month and a half in the North Pole region, Dominique Berteaux's team published a noteworthy article in the American journal Ecology that analyzes how the observation of a single animal's behaviour can have multiple scientific implications. Postdoctoral researchers Sandra Lai and Charline Couchoux, doctoral student Émilie Desjardins, master's student Jacob Caron Carrier, professor François Vézina (all from UQAR), as well as Dr. Andrew Tam and Nathan Koutroulides, respectively officer and assistant environment officer at 8 Wing of the Department of National Defence, participated in the work.
