The Centre expects its student members to contribute significantly to its mission and to participate in its activities, including the annual conference, the spring members' meeting and the Student Assembly meetings (see the CEN Governance Framework document). They also contribute to the Centre's outreach activities.
The Centre expects its members to respect its Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy and Code of Conduct when using its research facilities and attending its events. This ensures that the Centre's study, research and work environments are healthy and inclusive, enabling its members to flourish.
All Centre members must acknowledge their affiliation with the Centre in all publications resulting from research carried out at the Centre in connection with its scientific programme. This includes articles, books, reports, dissertations, theses and scientific communications, as well as conference presentations and posters. Additionally, the Centre's contribution to their research, whether logistical, financial or in terms of human resources, must be acknowledged in the acknowledgements section of their publications.
The CEN logo package is available here.
As the Centre is part of a Strategic Grouping governed by FRQ-NT rules, the Grouping's co-researchers, as well as its student researchers and postdoctoral fellows, undertake to comply with the FRQ-NT's Open Access Policy for their publications (Open Access Policy, Fonds de la Recherche du Québec, gouv.qc.ca).
The FRQ grant for the CEN's mature strategic group is now available: https://doi.org/10.69777/278716.
A student researcher may be part of another strategic group, provided they are equally involved in and benefit from both research groups.
