Member Categories Advantages Responsabilities Application

The following membership categories reflect the new FRQNT and CRUL rules, and were adopted by CEN members at the general meeting held on May 2, 2025.

Centre's Members

A student member of the Centre is a postgraduate student conducting a research project at an institution in or outside Quebec under the supervision of a regular or associate member of the Centre. The project must be directly related to the Centre's scientific programme.

Student members of the Centre may also be members of another research centre in Quebec.

Master's or doctoral students who are supervised by a collaborating member of the Centre and co-supervised by a regular or associate member may also become student members of the Centre.

* Strategic Cluster (Regroupement)

Any student member of the Centre who is directed or co-directed by a Regroupement co-investigator is automatically a Regroupement student researcher.

A Regroupement student researcher may belong to another strategic grouping in accordance with FRQ-NT rules.

Access to the Centre's internal financial aid programmes for its student members, which were set up thanks to the Regroupement grant, is reserved for Regroupement student researchers.
