The Dedicated Student Committee

The main mission of the Dedicated Student Committee (DSC) is to represent and bring together the ~200 CEN graduate students from a variety of institutions across Quebec. The DSC is ideally composed of members from all CEN partner institutions.

The DSC is responsible for representing the student members within the CEN, notably by sitting on the steering committee and by actively participating in the organization of social activities that promote networking among the various members. Another role of the DSC is to evaluate applications for awards and scholarships granted by the CEN.

The DSC is subdivided into the following sub-committees: Chair, Fundraising, Communications, Socio-Academic Activities, Awards Review and the Executive Committee.

Involvement

Getting involved in the DSC is an opportunity to network with students from different research fields and academic backgrounds and to participate in the organization of stimulating and unifying activities. It is the perfect opportunity to discover new subjects, to let your creativity flow on new projects and to exchange with students as passionate as you are about the North.

Come and discover the different sub-committees and exchange with the current members during the general assembly organized every year.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved in the CEN's Dedicated Student Committee, don't hesitate to contact us by email at etudiants@cen.ulaval.ca.
